Timelines are approximate and depend on scheduling availability. Most dealers are fully ramped within 6–8 weeks.
Step 1 — Place Initial Sample Order Week 1
- ✓Request your starter kit
Email your Pinnacle Sales territory rep with your sample-order request for approval and processing. Your starter kit includes door samples and color chips at a 50% showroom discount. We also recommend the full chip set with a sample of every color in chip format (SE Deck Complete). Download the correct form from Order Samples.
Step 2 — Door Sample Order Entered Week 1
- ✓Review your acknowledgment
WW Wood Customer Service will enter your sample order. You'll receive an acknowledgment email — review your door-sample and color-chip order within 24 hours of receipt. Mark any corrections on the acknowledgment and resend to orders@wwinc.com.
Step 3 — Dealer Portal Activation Week 2
- ✓Activate your WW Wood portal account
The dealer portal lets you place, track, and inquire about orders. You'll receive an activation email from our team once your dealer number is issued. Activate immediately upon receipt. See Ordering SOPs for the full order workflow.
Step 4 — Onboarding Training Session 1 (In-Person) Week 3
- ✓Product & sales orientation (~90 min)
Your territory manager will schedule an in-person session at your showroom. Covers cabinet construction and SKUs, finish overview, quoting tips, and competitive positioning. Target: within 10 days of receiving your samples. Review materials ahead of time on the Product Deep-Dive page.
Step 5 — Onboarding Training Session 2 (Live 2020 Webinar) Week 4
- ✓Hands-on 2020 Design catalog walkthrough (~90 min)
Live webinar covering WW Wood 2020 Design catalogs: catalog setup, spec rules, pricing, and order-form export. Our Dealer Success & 2020 Specialist will reach out to schedule. Target: 1 week after your in-person session. Browse tutorials and tips on the 2020 Software Training page.
Step 6 — Placing Your First Orders Weeks 5–6
- ✓Submit your first order for review
Your first 3-4 projects require a pre-order review before being sent to the factory. Email your order to our Dealer Success Specialist for review — expect a 48-hour turnaround. After your first few projects, you're cleared to order independently with design reviews available as needed. Follow the step-by-step process on the Ordering SOPs page.
