Now in production: Shiloh’s new 1¼″ Edge-Banded Shelf offers a clean, high-quality plywood shelf solution for open cabinetry and display applications. It’s designed for designers who want a veneered wood look with finished edges and fast field installation.

Why designers will like it

  • Solid plywood core with taped veneer edge-banded on all four sides; underside matches the finish.

  • Refined appearance — square corners only (no angles), ideal for Taiga and other contemporary frames.

  • Field-install only — shelves ship loose and are installed on site.

Quick specs

  • Available only in Shiloh (must be ordered on a Shiloh SKU).

  • Finishes: Only offered in Stains and Paints on Wood (no laminates).

  • Max size: 30″ D × 48″ W — do NOT exceed 48″ length. (This limit is important — do not order wider.)

  • Between cabinets: reduce depth 7/8″ to fit behind the frame; order +1/8″ width to account for side recess.

  • Optional PFSL groove (Prep Floating Shelf for Lighting): $100 list — runs full shelf length, side-to-side.

  • Price: $0.314 / in².

  • Shipping: Not available via express parcel — ships on W.W. Wood Products truck.
