Project: New showroom display — 5 Blox
Cabinetry: Shiloh Square Beaded Inset and Flush Inset · Eclipse Napa
Finish: White Oak Yosemite Brown
Designed by: Calinia Henry
Three Door Styles. One Finish. One Display.
5 Blox just commissioned a new showroom display anchored on a single thesis: White Oak Yosemite Brown — WW Wood's softly weathered, sun-warmed oak finish — running across three different door styles from two different brands. Shiloh's Square Beaded Inset on one wall, Flush Inset in the corner pantry/hutch, and Eclipse's Napa door style on the wine wall and tall pantry. Same oak. Same finish. Three completely different design conversations.
For a homeowner walking through the showroom, that's the kind of side-by-side that resolves a hard question quickly: "Which door style do I actually want?" They don't have to imagine the three options in three different finishes — the finish is constant, the joinery and reveal lines do the talking.
Why Yosemite Brown
Yosemite Brown is one of WW Wood's most requested oak finishes for a reason. It reads modern without going pale, warm without going orange, and it lets the rift-cut white oak grain do the work. Pair it with the Sequoia Brown porcelain floor 5 Blox installed and the soft-veined quartzite countertop, and the whole display feels lived-in before anyone has put a single plate on the shelf.
It's also a finish that doesn't fight the architecture. The vaulted ceiling, exposed beams, and woven pendant lights are doing plenty already. The cabinetry settles in underneath instead of competing.
Shiloh Square Beaded Inset on the Island
The island is where the Square Beaded Inset shows off. Look at the close-up below — the bead is routed around every door and drawer opening, doors sit flush in the frame, and the reveal stays consistent panel-to-panel. This is one of Shiloh's trademark moves, and unlike most semi-custom shops, beaded inset is priced the same as overlay. No upcharge, no extended lead time. Same boxes, more refined faces.
Calinia Henry paired the bead detail with leather pull knobs on the column of small drawers — the kind of detail that takes a stock door style and makes it feel like a custom build.
Flush Inset on the Pantry Run
The corner pantry/hutch run is built in Flush Inset — the cleaner, harder-to-execute cousin to beaded inset. Doors sit dead flush with the face frames, the stiles get tighter, and the reveals are pencil-thin. There's nowhere to hide a misalignment. This is the kind of cabinet detail that designers and homeowners point at and say "that's the level of finish I want" — and now 5 Blox has it sitting in the showroom in the exact finish people are asking about.
Eclipse Napa on the Wine Wall
The opposite wall flips brands: Eclipse in the Napa door style, with the same Yosemite Brown finish carrying over. Napa is a cleaner, stile-and-rail shaker — slightly more contemporary than the beaded inset across the room, and a great fit for the wine display: open floating shelves with under-mount LEDs, stem rails, marble back, and a flush-mount double oven tucked into a tall column on the right.
The reason this matters: a homeowner who walks in already shopping Eclipse can see Eclipse in this finish. A homeowner who walks in shopping Shiloh can see Shiloh. And a homeowner who hasn't picked yet can compare both — same finish, different door styles, in the same room. That's a closing showroom.
Designer Credit
The display was designed by Calinia Henry. The styling decisions — slatted island base, leather hardware, the beam ceiling treatment, the woven pendant choice — are why the display photographs as well as it does. We're publishing it here because it's the kind of work other Pinnacle Sales dealers should see when they're planning their own next display refresh.
